Good morning faithful RB30RB40 readers. I just want to let you know that a merger has taken place between my site and my friend's site at

A funny thing happened a couple weeks ago. I got together with my friend who I haven't seen in a while and we began chatting about life. It turns out that we were both doing the same thing, writing about personal finance and the great enigmas. We're both busy people, but we thought that if we combine forces, and include different perspectives, we'd stand a better chance at making our site a success over the long run. In fact, we're also going to have a
consistent female guest writer as well in the near future.
Three perspectives, all with a similar goal of reaching financial independence earlier, let's us speak to a broader audience.
We haven't worked out all the kinks yet, but the writing platform is much more dynamic at Financial Samurai. We strive to have greater interactivity with the readers through polls, post ratings, and a top poster section. We've also put up a "Road to $1million cash" barometer for anybody who wants to join that journey. Any feedback, welcome!
We're thinking big here, and plan to have 30,000 readers per month by the summer of 2010. In 8 years, we dream of sitting in a boardroom with Mr. Murdoch over at Newscorp to give him a first chance to buy us out before Mr. Turner!
